The Duel Masters™ Fan Fiction of this website is authored by the site's Administrator. It represents the semi-artificial online dueling climate of the sister site DuelZone(.org) at varying points in the history of the game, through featuring the ideas and opinions of those considered to be the best players of the game in DuelZone at that time, and the struggle to analyze the card Corile and its power over the English language version of the game, as distributed by Wizards Of The Coast.

The duels are all real (any complete duel, or any duel with named participants), with the actual games adapted from duel logs taken using the Duel Masters Civilizations online dueling program. In many cases, the players are also real people, and important pieces of dialogue are taken directly from the duel log as well, or opinions expressed on forums. Particularly, the content of Vol 22. Engineered Lull in the Action, is an adaptation of an article written by the player Pikaye, who was active in DuelZone at the time of original writing of that episode.

The Fan Fiction itself represents this through a fictional virtual world in which the KirriCorp chain of companies distributes and runs Duel Masters™. This conglomerate is not real, nor connected in any way to any real company. It is not meant to directly represent the game's true distributor, Wizards of the Coast, though obviously similarities in function are unavoidable.

The Fan Fiction is split into 'Set Sagas' of 13 episodes each, though there is some overlap in the actual availability of cards, and the Pilot Saga (Vol 1. - Vol 13.) shares the same set as the following Set Six Saga (Vol 14. to Vol 26.). Currently, the Fan Fiction is in the Set Ten Saga (Vol 66 to Vol 78.)
